We are looking
for students to join our events and admin teams as Super Mentors.
As a member of
the events team, you will be responsible for promoting the Student Mentoring
Scheme. This could include setting up and running events, up keeping social
media as well as recruiting and training mentors.
As a member of the admin team, you will be the first point of contact for students contacting the Study Skills and Mentoring Teams.
As part of these roles, you will also provide students digital support; assisting students with the use of Unilife, Blackboard and Turnitin. This can take place as one-to-one support, workshop facilitation or e-support.
The roles aim to provide Student Mentors with an opportunity to grow and develop their skills, and prepare them for life after graduating. The benefits of being a Super Mentor include valuable experience networking and skill development. These include communication, team work, confidence and creative and problem solving skills.
All Super Mentors are offered development opportunities, and the role contributes towards GradEdge.
These are paid
roles, via either a bursary or an hourly paid rate. If you are interested in
one of the roles, please read the role descriptions, and apply by emailing us.
